The Sienna pendant is a naturally dyed version of our Sunhat pendant. Its shallow conical form is the same, but woven in a rusty red color. The elephant grass is dyed in a combination of local plant materials, including camwood and dawadawa tree bark, drawing the color into the fiber itself.

Each shade is woven from that dyed grass by members of SWOPA, the Sirigu Women’s Organization for Pottery and Art in northern Ghana, and crafted into a richly textured cone that diffuses light broadly and warmly.

The Sienna Pendant is a limited edition. These naturally dyed pieces vary in saturation – we highly recommend making an in-person or virtual appointment to choose your specific shade before it is wired.

Available with solid or twisted cord in a vanilla or sienna color. Assembled and wired with brass fittings in Los Angeles to US standards. Trade pricing available for interior designers and architects.
